Level 3M - Macro & SuperMacro Workshop
A one-day (6-hour) hands-on workshop

Course Dates: One of (June 16 or 17)

Level 3: Macro & Supermacro - For intermediate to advanced photographers comfortable with the principles of exposure and comfortable with a range of camera settings. This course is designed for DSLR cameras and will allow you to look at a variety of specialty macro and super-macro equipment, while you learn many of the tricks of this specialty field. Course will include different methods of getting magnification, theory of resolution vs. magnification, methods for holding subjects or camera, slowing animals, lighting with on-camera and off-camera flash, and so forth. A tripod will be useful.

A one-day (6-hour) hands-on workshop
$150 - Minimum 2 Participants, Maxmum 3

Course Dates: One of (Fall - 2010 TBA)

Level 3: Underwater Without Getting Wet - For intermediate to advanced photographers comfortable with the principles of exposure and comfortable with a range of camera settings. This course will take you through a variety of topics and skills for taking photographs of underwater life. A principle of this course is that we will try to stay dry or mostly dry. You will also learn about some relatively economical methods to get underwater photos and video for when you do go snorkeling or diving. We will work in the field and in the lab using underwater housings, aquaria, and special photographic equipment. We will learn techniques of potography in public aquaria and outdoor streams and ponds.
